Your Local Artist Consortium
Our membership is free, open to all artists, creatives, and supporters of our mission and vision. We provide members with monthly meeting minutes outlining our current projects, a contact list for all members, and an opportunity to share ideas, participate in projects, and play a significant role in developing the economic impact of arts and culture in Pueblo, Colorado and the Colorado Southwest.
ABOUT US
We are a consortium of people unified to promote and market the creative endeavors of Pueblo.
Our vision is to promote Pueblo art, artisans, and creatives in order to attract internal and external spending in Pueblo.
Our accomplishments to date include a free Van Gogh Van with Tour Guides 5-7 pm every First Friday Art Walk and an Artists Registry to facilitate referrals, communication, and customer satisfaction. We now have a QR code so the First Friday Van Gogh Van map is always up-to-date, and kiosks that advertise artists, creatives, and galleries via self-created brochures in local bed and breakfasts, the Pueblo Convention Center, the Pueblo Welcome Center and many other locations. The Creative Consortium of Pueblo hosted the hosted the 2024 Colorado Creative Industries Summit and initiated an annual art festival with the Faux First Friday Annual Art Festival on May 10th, 2024. A subcommittee of artists and educators have implemented art-based psychosocial learning programs in Pueblo public schools. Come bring your ideas on ways to further our mission and vision.
